The Role
We are building the operating system for restaurants of the future from the ground up. Your goal is to build high-leverage systems that help automate the industry and reduce manual work to zero.
This isn’t a role for someone looking to coast. You’ll have ownership, visibility, and influence across the stack. Expect shipping to users every sprint then tighten them in the following sprints.

* You turn big, messy problems into a working demo within two weeks.
* You jump in to unblock a teammate instead of letting them spin.
* You look out for new tools and share what works.
* You leave both code and process cleaner than you found them.
* You’ve stuck with at least one product for 3+ years and driven it forward.
* You’re looking for a long-term home where shipping fast and building well both matter.
What You’ll Get

* Fortnightly team dinners at customer restaurants
* 4+ years commercial experience shipping and maintaining production-level software
* Typescript: deep understanding of both front-end and back-end usage
* Backend: proficiency in software design patterns
* Cloud provider: experience running live production workloads in the cloud
* Relational database: confident writing queries, designing schemas, and shipping DB changes without downtime
* GraphQL: built and consumed APIs at scale
* Latest tooling: we use AI and computer vision to speed up internal data workflows
* Ownership mindset: scope, build, test, and ship without hand-holding
* Agile instincts: comfortable iterating fast and making smart tradeoffs
* Testing culture: experience writing effective, maintainable automated tests
