Working within a controlled environment of a 12 bedded residential care home at Struan Lodge to assist with the delivery of care for our residents in a person centred manner.
You will work as part of our friendly team who are all dedicated to providing excellent standards of care to our residents.
You will work as part of the team to enable our residents to maintain and develop their individual lifestyles and always treat them with dignity and respect.
You will contribute to the care plans and reviews for residents and must ensure records are recorded accurately.
You will promote meaningful activities and ensure our resident’s remain integrated with their family and our local community.
You require to be kind, compassionate and understanding of others with an ability to convey empathy.
You must have good communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
It would be desirable to have your SVQ 2 or 3
PVG for adults will be required
