The Area HR Manager plays a critical role in leading a team of HR professionals whose goal is to enable a qualified and engaged workforce to labor diligently in the Lord's vineyard. You will lead development efforts, help structure the organization to fulfill its purpose, and find solutions to complex challenges for an area that spans multiple countries and several languages.

Location
This position is located at the Area Office in High Wycombe, England. The successful candidate must relocate within one hour of the Office. Currently a hybrid work schedule is in place with the ability to work remotely 1-2 days a week. Occasional travel may be required.

As the Area HR Manager, you will:
4. Lead and Inspire: Oversee HR operations for the area, lead a department of professionals, and foster a Christ-centered culture dedicated to development and impactful contributions
5. Provide Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Area leadership to align HR strategies with our mission and organizational goals
6. Navigate a Challenging Legal Environment: Formulate and implement policy, and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while promoting a unified organizational culture.
7. Talent Development: Implement programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent who are passionate about our mission
8. Employee Engagement: Cultivate an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to contribute to our mission
9. Adaptability: Help the organization thrive in a rapidly changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of new challenges and opportunities
What We’re Looking For
10. Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field. Master’s degree and HR certification preferred
11. Experience: Extensive prior experience in human resource management (minimum of 8 years in HR roles), with a strong track record of team leadership, Church employment experience preferred
12. Expertise: Deep strategic and HR operational knowledge, familiarity with best HR practices
