What You Will Be Doing
With experience from the NHS or private care, you will oversee and provide high-quality care to individuals in a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting, supporting your team and promoting good teamwork. As a Charge Nurse, you will lead the quality and management of nursing care and clinical services, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities include:
* Delegating nursing tasks and coordinating with other teams
* Monitoring service users’ conditions and responding to changes
* Supervising team members and providing guidance
* Making critical decisions on service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
* Acting as liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals

Requirements
* A relevant nursing qualification
* NMC registration
* A positive attitude, caring and compassionate nature
* A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
* Experience in a similar environment

Dove House is a specialist residential service supporting adults under 65 with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory and communication differences. The service supports individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors, facilitating their transition from hospital or preventing inappropriate admissions, in a community-like setting.
