RPS Occupational Health have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Practice Nurse to join our Team, working on our Ford contract based in Dagenham. As an Occupational Health Practice Nurse you will ensure the delivery of class leading service for the supply of emergency response and treatment services, health surveillance, health screening and health promotion to our famous manufacturing client.

About You:
As a key member of the Occupational Health business, your role as Occupational Health Practice Nurse is critical to helping our clients manage health and wellbeing solutions.
You will deliver consultations covering fitness for work, absence management, and employee assistance programmes.

Your Responsibilities:
Provide proactive Occupational Health services to client companies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Prevent adverse health effects from workplace activities using specialist skills and standards
Ensure efficient recording and sign-off of all clinic visits
Deliver treatment services, including emergency call-outs.
Maintain ongoing sign-off of checklists and competencies with Clinical Management (CM)
Collaborate with Management team/Lead OHA to maintain site awareness, signed off every three months
Attend safety walks, 1:1 meetings with Clinical Management and SDM
Deliver Fitness to work, health surveillance, Executive Medicals, and Health MOTs as required
Provide mental health support through effective signposting or appropriate room use
Support Wellbeing programme initiatives and maintain staff notice boards
Provide regular updates on clinic activities, supporting Management Information function
Maintain evidence-based clinic practice in line with NMC regulations
Ensure adherence to contractual code of conduct
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Experience working as a Practice Nurse, Occupational Health experience desirable but not essential
Able to work 8-hour shifts- on a 40-hour week rotation, providing 24 hours cover
Acute nursing experience, health surveillance (desirable)
High degree of self management, self motivation and ability to work alone or as part of a team
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal skills
Be open to change and lead by example
Excellent organisation skills are essential to prioritise and manage a flexible workload
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, email and OH systems
Qualifications:
Registered General Nurse
