Role overview:
As Team Manager, you will provide leadership, oversight, and professional guidance to the Looked After Children Team, ensuring high‑quality practice, compliance with statutory responsibilities, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
What you will do:
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of social workers within the Looked After Children service.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure consistently high standards of social work practice and decision‑making.
* Supervision & Development: Supervise, mentor, and support social workers to promote professional growth and performance.
* Performance Management: Undertake auditing, performance monitoring, and service improvement initiatives.
* Partnership Working: Collaborate with internal teams, partner agencies, and stakeholders to deliver effective care planning and support.
