Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality, personalised lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Adapt teaching approaches to support students with SEND, SEMH, and trauma-related barriers to learning
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
• Support safeguarding, wellbeing, and personal development across the provision
• Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
• Act as a Form Tutor and maintain positive communication with families and carers
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic learning environment

Qualifications and Skills:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Strong understanding of SEND, SEMH, and trauma-informed practice
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills
• Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with students and families
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable young people
• Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice

What We Offer:
• Competitive daily pay rates
• A supportive and collaborative SEND school environment
• Opportunities for ongoing training and career progression
• Access to experienced leadership and specialist support teams
• Valuable experience within specialist education and therapeutic practice
• Opportunities to contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusive learning initiatives

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking and nurturing specialist provision, making a meaningful impact on the lives of young people while developing your own career within SEND education.

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS.
