Change Manager
Salary: £44,559 - £47,902
Location: Milton Keynes
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week Monday-Friday
or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours.
Flexible or compressed working hours available.

HMGCC are facing faster, more complex, and more interdependent changes which require effective change management to deliver them. This involves a clear and structured approach to help people and teams adjust to changes. It aims to minimise resistance and helps make sure that change is accepted and working well.
You’ll be part of the strategy and change team, working alongside other delivery professionals, including project managers and business analysts, to prepare and support the business to deliver transformational changes. These will be large scale changes and include fundamental shifts of processes, systems or structures within the organisation. As a change manager, you will support different projects across the transformation portfolio to ensure change is delivered effectively and efficiently in the business.
This is a people-focused role which involves building and maintaining relationships and enabling others to understand, value and do change well. You will help people prepare for the impact of the changes being delivered, translating organisational strategies into clear business outcomes and deliverables.
You’ll gain a unique perspective of our business, working closely with a broad range of teams to proactively enable the delivery of our organisation’s vision.
Once established in this role, there is the opportunity to apply for a recruitment retention allowance of £4,198. This is subject to change.

To apply for this role, you will already have:
* An understanding of how people respond to change and the change process they go through.
* Experience of establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
* Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbally.
* Ability to influence others and move forward to a common vision or goal.
It would be beneficial if you also have one of the following (although these are not essential):
* Experience with or knowledge of change management methodologies and tools.
* An understanding or experience of project delivery.

Putting your skills to use
Using your diverse range of skills within the Change team, you will:
* Manage business change activities and work to enable delivery of the project benefits and outcomes.
* Champion the use of best practice and provide advice for team members and the project community.
* Identify and classify stakeholders ensuring their inclusion in stakeholder engagement plans.
* Maintain a change plan for the project and provide input into the overall project plan.
* Support the Project/Delivery Manager and stakeholders to identify and leverage benefits, working in partnership with the team to plan how these will be achieved.
* Advise and lead on business change messaging and communications across the project.
* Provide guidance and support to the business change and project team, including mentoring and coaching less experienced members.
