Plumber – Mechanically BiasedLocation: DublinContract: Full-time, PermanentSalary: €55,000About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumber who has a strong mechanical/HVAC expertise background to join our team!This role is ideally suited to a qualified plumber who has developed solid experience working with mechanical plant, HVAC systems, and building services. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all plumbing and mechanical systems across a busy production environment.What You'll DoCarry out planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance with a strong focus on plumbing systems and mechanical plantMaintain and repair domestic and industrial water systems, including pumps, valves, pipework and drainageSupport the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, boilers, and associated mechanical equipmentPerform inspections and ensure compliance across water hygiene, HVAC, and life safety systemsManage and close work orders using CAFM systems (Maximo), ensuring accurate reporting and record keepingRespond to breakdowns and urgent maintenance issues in a timely mannerAssist with small installations, upgrades, and system modificationsMonitor plant performance and proactively identify faults or inefficienciesAssist in general maintenance tasks, ensuring facilities are kept in good working order.Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures, particularly within a food production environmentBuild strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and site teamsWhat We're Looking ForEssential:Qualified plumber with experience in mechanical and HVAC systemsProven experience working in industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale commercial environmentsStrong knowledge of water systems, pipework, pumps, and fault findingHands-on experience supporting HVAC systems, boilers, and mechanical plantGood understanding of compliance, particularly in regulated environmentsStrong IT skills (Microsoft Office, handheld devices)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsDesirable:Experience using CAFM systems such as Maximo.Familiarity with Irish building regulations and standards.Ability to identify maintenance improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
