Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the national sales strategy in line with company objectives and growth plans.
* Deliver sales revenue, margin and market share targets across all roof and wall cladding systems and associated products.
* Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and forecasting accuracy and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
* Identify new market opportunities, sectors and routes to market, including specification, merchant, contractor and distribution channels.
* Lead, motivate and develop sales to achieve high performance and consistent results.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including contractors, architects, developers and merchants.
* Support specification activity, ensuring early engagement on projects and conversion to order.
* Collaborate with technical and estimating teams to ensure best practices and order conversion.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of roofing systems, building regulations, sustainability standards and competitor activity.
* Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and customer forums.
* Drive awareness of system warranties, certifications and compliance standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience
* Results-driven with strong commercial focus.
* Confident, credible, and professional approach.
* Ability to organise, lead and motivate staff.
* Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and data protection (including GDPR Regulations).
* Proven sales experience within construction manufacturing, ideally roofing, building envelope, or related systems is desirable.
* Strong understanding of specification-led sales and construction supply chains.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver growth, management of customer accounts and sales strategies.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
* Experience with roof systems, wall cladding or building envelope products would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, BBA certification and sustainability frameworks.
* CRM and sales performance management experience.
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK
Hours & Location
Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Location: Rogerstone, Newport, but will need to travel in line with business requirements
