Role Information
The school is seeking a hands-on, technically skilled DT Technician to support both practical workshop lessons and design-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing materials, tools, and resources for DT lessons
* Assisting with CAD/CAM operations including 3D printers and laser cutters
* Maintaining machinery, tools, and workshop equipment
* Supporting students during practical tasks, ensuring safe usage
* Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and tracking inventory
* Ensuring adherence to health & safety and risk assessment requirements
* Assisting with displays, prototype modelling, and coursework support
* Providing technical assistance during GCSE and A-Level project work
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant workshop environment
* Supporting the DT department in delivering high-quality practical learning

Requirements
* Previous DT Technician or workshop-based experience
