The corporate and commercial law team works on a wide range of matters. These include advising businesses of all kinds, in particular in the SME market, as well as private companies, partnerships and sole traders. The firm advises management teams, start-ups, debt providers, investors, directors, shareholders and insolvency practitioners. In recent years, the team has undertaken a considerable amount of work within the Renewable Energy Sector. The firm is forward-thinking and is now considering some medium term succession planning issues. Naturally, the firm is therefore looking to recruit someone with an ambition to achieve Equity Partnership within the next 5 years. The preference in terms of candidate leans more towards a corporate lawyer with around 5-10 years’ experience; however, there is a clear flexibility, which means they could consider a candidate outside this bracket.
