We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a Labs System Analyst/Administrator
What Were Looking For:

4. Clinical Laboratory Insight: You understand the unique challenges and needs of clinical laboratories.
5. Good communication skills: Youll be required to engage with laboratory and clinical staff, understand their requirements and communicate solutions, summaries, issues or alerts.
6. Competent IT Skills: You are confident with IT systems and can work independently with minimal supervision. Youll be bringing all these together to support the day-to-day IT requirements of laboratory services and help find solutions that develop and streamline those services.

7. Specialist Skills Development: Enhance your expertise in Business Intelligence, SQL Server integration and reporting services, and Transform document management and distribution software.
8. An understanding of how laboratory services are integrated with the wider Lothian clinical operations and national bodies.
9. Exciting Work Environment: Be part of a small, supportive team based at the Nine Edinburgh Bioquarter, next to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. Travel to other Lothian laboratory sites as needed.
Your Role:
10. LIMS Implementation: Play a key role in the implementation of the Evolution vLab Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
11. Diverse IT Tasks: Engage in LIMS build, application support, analyser integration and configuration, audit and management information production, and support service continuity for Laboratory Medicine.
12. Work to a high level of responsibility and conscientiousness to meet the safety and quality requirements of the job.
