Teaching Assistant – Primary Location: Shoreham-by-Sea Pay: £89.05-£97.50 per day Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 Contract Type: Full-time Supply Desk is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join one of the fantastic schools we service in Shoreham from September. This role offers flexibility, with opportunities to make a real difference in the lives of young learners with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with SEN, adapting to their unique learning needs. Create a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and development of every student. Manage challenging behaviour, using appropriate de-escalation techniques. Adapt to different school environments and work collaboratively with staff. Requirements: ✔️ Experience working with children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties) is highly desirable. A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN. Strong communication and teamwork skills. ️ Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
