Job Description
3. Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
4. Maintain and improve AP policies, procedures, and controls to align with industry standards.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
6. Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with payment terms.
7. Prepare regular reports on AP performance and provide insights to senior management.
8. Support the month-end close process by reconciling AP accounts.
9. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the AP function.
10. Provide leadership and guidance to the AP team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AP Manager should have:
11. Proven expertise in accounts payable operations within the accounting and finance sector.
12. Experience in the life sciences industry will be highly advantageous.
13. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes.
