We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have solid dispensing experience, a good understanding of pharmacy operations, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions in line with SOPs and legal requirements.
Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient queries in a professional, friendly manner.
Assist in the preparation of dosette boxes / blister packs where required.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
Order, receive, and manage stock effectively.
Work collaboratively with the pharmacist and team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Promote pharmacy services, including health checks, travel clinic, Blood pressure check and flu & Covid vaccinations.
Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures
Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience working as a pharmacy dispenser in the UK
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Pharmacy Services
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services
Experience with PMR systems (ProScript)
