Full-time|36hoursperweek|MondayFriday|Office-based(reviewpossibleparthomeworkingafterinitialmonth)

WeareseekingaBenefitsprofessionalwithsignificantexperienceandastrongbackgroundinbenefitassessmentwhoisreadytoprogressintoaRevenues&BenefitsSystemsOfficerrole.ThispositionisidealforsomeonewhounderstandstheoperationalsideofBenefitsandwantstomoveintoamoretechnical,systems-focusedcareerpath.

Therolecentersonmaintaining,developing,andimprovingourBenefitssystems,ensuringaccuracy,efficiency,andcomplianceacrossallprocesses.Youwillworkcloselywithoperationalteams,IT,andexternalsupplierstosupportsystemchanges,testing,upgrades,anddataquality.

Skills&Experience

Wearelookingforsomeonewith:

* significantBenefitsassessmentexperience(HB/CTRorequivalent)
* StrongunderstandingofBenefitslegislation,workflows,andoperationalprocesses
* GoodworkingknowledgeofExcel(lookups,pivottables,datamanipulation)
* Familiaritywithanyofthefollowingisanadvantage:
* QBF
* SQL
* CAKE/HBAP
* QualityAssurance
* Appeals
* End-of-Yearprocesses

Wedonotexpectyoutohaveallthetechnicalskillsfromdayone.WewillinvestintraininganddevelopmentfortherightcandidatewhobringsstrongBenefitsknowledgeandawillingnesstolearn.

YouwillsupporttheCouncilintheeffectiveandefficientmaintenanceanddevelopmentoftheCouncilsRevenuesandBenefitssystem.

Themainpurposeoftherole:

YouwillsupporttheCouncilintheeffectiveandefficientmaintenanceanddevelopmentoftheRevenuesandBenefitssystemoftheCouncil(Academy)

Specificdutiesandresponsibilities

ResponsibleforprovidingsupportfortheAcademysystemoftheCouncil.

Inparticular:

* AssisttheAcademySystemsManagerinprovidingahigh-qualityservicewhichensurestheCouncilmeetsitsstatutoryandlegalrequirements.
* HaveahighknowledgeofthefunctionalityandsystemsoperationoftheAcademysystemtoprovideadviceandsupporttotheSystemsManager(Academy)
* Ensuretheregularinformationupdatesaremanagedinatimelymannerandreportareproducedinaccordancewithbusinessneeds
* MaintainandsupporttheAcademySystemtoprovideaqualitysystemtothecouncil.
* Draftandupdateproceduremanuals
* Assistwithstatutoryreturns(includingsubsidy),liaiseeffectivelywiththeCouncilsExternalAuditor.
* Assistwiththetestingofnewreleasesanddaytodaysystemissues
* ProvideadvicetootherteamsoftheCouncilonAcademyfunctionality,reportsandupgrades.
* Produceadhocreports,makesystemupdatesandchanges.

LiaisewithcolleagueswithintheTeamandtheCounciltomaximisetheuseandfunctionalityofthesystem.

Experience

Ofworkinginabusyanddemandingsystemsenvironment.

Recent,regularuseoftheAcademyBenefitsI.T.system. xsngvjr

OfworkingwithfinancialinformationandstatisticsincludingusingarangeofMSExcelfunctionality

Ofdesigningprocessesandworkinginaccordancewithwrittenprocedures

Theabilitytopreparemanualscoveringcomplexprocessesandproceduresformatappropriatetotheaudience.

Ofbuildinggoodworkingrelationshipswithinternalcolleaguebutalsoexternalpartneragenciesandsuppliersasrequired
