This is a varied position within a highly skilled team, where you will work on a range of large scale projects, playing a key role in both the design and delivery stages. The business are well established within their sector and work on projects across the construction and heavy engineering industries. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to bring in an additional Design Engineer to strengthen the team. In this role you will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from initial design through to completion. This will include the design of structural components and engineered systems, alongside supporting project delivery and working closely with other departments. There is a clear progression route available, with the opportunity to move into a senior or principal level position as you develop within the company. The ideal candidate will have experience working on structural or mechanical design projects, with knowledge of steel structures or heavy engineering environments. An understanding of FEA or similar analysis methods would be beneficial. Chartership is supported but not essential.
