Role Overview:
Endur Tech Engineer to work on Front and Mid Office elements for our Power Trading team. This role involves working in the power sector related to the trade and management of power generation assets, including wind, solar, batteries, and CCG power stations. The team supports systems that enable trading decisions, trade execution, and risk management. Responsibilities include implementing operating models, interfacing new systems and data feeds (national grid, power auctions, weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs), with primary focus on implementing changes in Endur Openlink.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with implementing and extending features in OpenLink Endur.
* Experience in Physical and Financial Power and Gas Markets.
* Ability to lead as a Business Analyst independently and support other BAs.
* Experience across all trading floor areas, focusing on Front and Mid Office.
* Expertise in non-linear instruments in a Commodity/Energy Trading environment and their representation in Endur.
* Experience liaising with Traders and Quant developers on option pricing models, including complex cross-commodity physical options.
* Configuration experience in Endur for Deal lifecycle, Confirmations, Settlement invoicing, and scheduling.
* Problem-solving skills within a transparent change control process.
* Understanding of Endur Reporting architecture and modules such as APM, TPM, DMS, Connex, and EOD Workflows.
* Knowledge of Endur deployment procedures, including CMM import/export and cloud DevOps.
* Experience working with business analysts and traders to elaborate requirements and implement solutions.
* Ability to implement testing regimes to ensure quality.
* Experience working with hybrid teams using Scrum methodology.
* Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders up to senior level.
* Familiarity with analytical software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical skills with a structured approach.
* Experience with agile delivery.
* Knowledge of global power markets.
* Experience in complex contracts, power purchase agreement modeling, and power asset optimization.
