Mechanical Fitter Northern Ireland £38,000 - £45,000 Company Van & Fuel Card Overtime at 1.5x Rate Paid Travel Time Talent Curve are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join a growing engineering business delivering maintenance, service and project work across Northern Ireland. This is a field-based role offering plenty of variety, working across a range of industrial and infrastructure environments. You'll be joining a well-established team with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering support to long-standing clients throughout the province. The Role You'll be responsible for: Carrying out mechanical maintenance, repair and installation work on customer sites across Northern Ireland Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime Supporting planned maintenance programmes and project work Completing service documentation and reports Providing a professional service while representing the company on-site Participating in an on-call rota following your initial training and induction period What We're Looking For NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or a recognised apprenticeship At least a couple of years' post-qualification experience in a maintenance, service or fitting role Strong mechanical fault-finding ability Full UK driving licence Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Ability to work independently when required What's On Offer Salary starting from £38,000 with higher packages available depending on experience Company van and fuel card Paid travel time Overtime paid at time and a half 1 in 8 on-call rota with additional earning potential Ongoing training and development opportunities Long-term career progression within a growing engineering business Northern Ireland-based work only This role would suit Mechanical Fitters, Maintenance Fitters, Service Engineers or Mechanical Maintenance Engineers based around Belfast, Lisburn, Antrim, Ballymena, Randalstown, Newtownabbey and surrounding areas.
