Farm Assistant Manager (Berry Production – Irrigation Focus) – Surrey - £35,000 – £45,000 DOE + Accommodation
Responsibilities
* A hands on role supporting the Farm Manager in overseeing berry production operations, with a strong focus on irrigation systems and crop care.
* You will manage irrigation schedules, monitor soil moisture and crop health, and ensure efficient use of water resources.
* Alongside this, you will assist with planting, crop husbandry, and harvest operations, while supervising staff and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety.

The Candidate
* Experience in crop production, ideally within horticulture or soft fruit
* Strong understanding of irrigation systems and water management
* Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on detail
* Ability to supervise and motivate teams of staff
* Good organisational and record-keeping skills
* Flexible, proactive, and willing to work peak season hours
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
