We are recruiting two Band 5 Respiratory/Sleep Physiologists to support the respiratory team at the community diagnostic centre, located at Fairfield and Oldham hospitals.
Cardiorespiratory Investigations is a forward-looking department comprising a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering the best possible care to our patients.
As a Specialist Practitioner in respiratory, the successful candidate will be competent in performing advanced respiratory investigations, supporting sleep investigations, and assisting with the initiation of treatment and patient follow-up.
The department offers a broad range of respiratory and sleep physiological measurements. The post may involve working across sites within the Northern Care Alliance.
* Perform a range of clinical respiratory and sleep investigations for patients of all ages from various specialties, primarily cardio-thoracic in nature, with potential for cross-site working.
* Interpret results and provide factual reports.
* Collaborate daily with team members to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service.
* Provide comprehensive clinical respiratory and sleep investigative services to patients across multiple specialties suffering from diverse medical disorders, including cardio-thoracic conditions.
