The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization. This role ensures that all aspects of the program are completed on time and within budget, acting as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities
1. Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
3. Develop and control project deadlines, budgets, and activities.
4. Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
5. Resolve high-level scope issues.
6. Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure goals related to customer satisfaction and team performance are met.
8. Implement and manage changes to achieve project goals.
9. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to ensure transparent communication regarding project issues and decisions.
10. Produce accurate and timely reports on program status throughout its lifecycle.
11. Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications
* University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills—oral, written, and presentation.
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Self-accountability for achieving goals and standards.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work across all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.
Additional Responsibilities
* Lead a multi-functional global team to define system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Develop business cases for new opportunities.
* Define and implement product cost roadmaps in line with company priorities.
* Lead change management projects per customer and company requirements.
* Manage customer-facing projects.
* Oversee new technology developments relevant to the heavy vehicle industry, especially electric vehicles.
* Possess knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements in the automotive sector (desirable).
Skills
* Program and project management expertise.
* Experience in Agile development environments.
* Experience leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development environments (electric vehicle experience preferred).
* Knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety standards (desirable).
