We are currently working with our client, Royal London.

Job Description - The Role

Royal London is a financial services company with a difference. As the UK's largest mutual life, pensions and investment company, we're owned by our members and work for their benefit, not for shareholder profits. We've grown rapidly and have been recognised as one of the UK's top rated places to work.

Today, Royal London has over £114 billion of funds under management, and around 3,500 employees working in six offices across the UK and Ireland. We've worked hard to become experts in our specialist markets, building a trusted brand - and our teams have plenty of awards to show for it. Whatever team you're interested in joining and whatever role you play, we'll help you to make a difference.

Purpose of the Role:

The Analysis Manager will play a critical leadership role in the successful delivery of a complex migration project, transitioning from a legacy mainframe system into Royal London's internal systems. This role provides deep technical expertise in analysis, ensuring that business and technical requirements are thoroughly understood, accurately captured, and effectively translated into actionable outcomes for development and delivery teams.

The Analysis Manager will lead a team of analysts, providing strategic direction, coaching, and quality assurance to ensure consistency and rigour in analysis practices across the project. They will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment around scope, dependencies, and data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities of the role:

* Identifies alternatives, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches considering Risk, Cost and Benefits
* Undertakes advanced modelling for significant projects or programmes of change, working with senior stakeholders to validate.
* Supports the development and adoption of company wide modelling approach and techniques.
* Takes responsibility for investigative work to determine business opportunities, and specify effective business processes. Specifies their implementation through improvements in information systems, data management, practices, organisation and equipment.
* Applies and monitors the use of required modelling and analysis tools, methods and standards in an intelligent and effective way.
* Utilises business experience and skills to assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities.
* Maintains a thorough awareness of the methods and tools used in the organisation.
* Provides basic training in the use of methods and tools. Deals with users' problems and queries in practice.
* Identifies key barriers to change, and appropriate solutions, including HR and legal implications.
* Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for large or complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders as required.
* Selects the most appropriate means of representing business requirements.
* Provides guidance and direction to less experienced colleagues.
* Contributes to the Change practice by sharing ideas and experience.
* Will be a role model for the Spirit of Royal London values.

What we require from the candidate:

* Expert Knowledge and experience of Analysis. Considers all aspects of business change.
* Expert in applying specialist knowledge across various business areas and maintains commercial and customer focused.
* Expert in establishing and maintaining relationships with senior business stakeholders.
* Expert in Business Analysis and related Modelling, design and Business Concepts
