JOB TITLE: Portfolio Lead (Senior Audit Manager) – Market Risk
LOCATIONS: Edinburgh & Bristol
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week at one of our hub locations.
About this opportunity
As the Portfolio Lead, you’ll ensure high-quality delivery of audit plans, providing assurance on risk management and internal controls across portfolios. You’ll manage the complete audit process, follow up on actions, and work closely with others. You’ll also contribute to the development of GA&CI colleagues through teamwork, collaboration, and resource management. Providing coaching and mentoring to foster a positive team culture is also key.
Responsibilities include:
* Supervising the scope and delivery of audits, leading complex audits within the portfolio.
* Planning audits, supporting Engagement Leads, and managing audit quality.
* Collaborating on resource allocation and engaging with stakeholders on risk management and controls.
* Driving innovation, identifying improvements, and modeling group values and behaviors.
* Providing coaching, feedback, and performance management to team members.

What you’ll need:
* Knowledge of Market Risk regulatory requirements, including IMA, IRRBB, and FRTB.
* Ability to develop assurance approaches, set risk appetite, and manage controls.
* Understanding of MR methodologies, models, and key indicators.
* Strong governance knowledge and ability to review policies and procedures.
* Experience in capital requirement assurance, stress testing, and risk analysis.
* Leadership skills to deliver and champion team growth.
* Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively.
