Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the kitchen staff
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Organise and store ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and dining areas
- Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting and take direction from supervisors
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
