🚛 HGV Technician – Bridgwater
💷 £125 Weekly Bonus paid by Workforce | Excellent Pay | Overtime Available | Ongoing Work
Realistic weekly take-home: £1,100–£1,350+ depending on overtime worked
We’re expanding our workshop operations and are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our busy Bridgwater depot. This is a full-time, temporary on-going role offering strong earning potential, regular overtime, and long-term continuity of work within a growing operation.
💷 Pay, Bonus & Overtime
1. £20.03 per hour
2. £125 weekly bonus paid by Workforce for full weeks worked
3. Overtime (after 47.5 hrs): £25.04 per hour
4. Saturday rate: £25.04 per hour
5. Sunday rate: £30.05 per hour
6. Regular overtime available to significantly boost earnings
🕒 Shift Pattern
7. Any 5 days out of 7
8. Flexible weekday and weekend working

🔧 The Role
You’ll be responsible for keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and road-ready:
10. Service, inspect, and maintain HGVs to legal and company standards
11. Prepare vehicles for MOTs and manage test centre logistics
12. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
13. Repair minor accident damage
14. Accurately record defects and completed work
15. Proactively identify and resolve technical issues
16. Work on vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment
17. Deliver a high standard of customer service
✅ What We’re Looking For
18. Proven commercial HGV experience (essential)
19. Relevant qualifications: City & Guilds (Parts 1–3), BTEC, IMI, or equivalent experience
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
21. Organised, reliable, and professional approach
22. Strong communication skills
23. Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 minor points
(No CD, DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
