Those who apply… * Should have experience of using lockstitich, overlock and zipping * Can work in a high volume environment * are able to work to deadlines and targets * Have notable experience in furniture / sofas * Should be able demonstrate use of machine working What you’ll be doing … * Operating of an industrial sewing machine * Work with a variety of materials such as fabric and leather * Working to product specifications; ensuring precise and clean seams * Sewing of matched products to high specifications * Effectively match fabric sewing to specifications such as stripes / motifs * Working to a high quality standard * Follow detailed work instructions and patterns to ensure accuracy in product assembly * Inspect finished seams and stitching for quality, ensuring durability and consistency * Maintain sewing machines by performing routine cleaning and maintenance * Work effectively to meet production targets and deadlines whilst maintaining high-quality workmanship * Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless work flow through the production * Reporting of any defect or issues wit materials or equipment * Adhere to health and safety standards * Keep track of production progress and report any delays which may impact timelines * Be proactive in identifying and suggesting improvements to enhance production efficiency or quality * Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures What’s on offer … * Monday - Friday * Full time permanent Contract * Pension / Salary Sacrifice Scheme * Life Assurance Policy * Free Parking * Career Development * Employee Assistance Programme * Cycle to Work Scheme Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are an equal opportunity employer.
