Assistant Manager - Job Role
To support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational standards, and attracting new business through SM and events. This role plays a key part in leading the team, delivering memorable guest experiences, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Act as manager on duty in the absence of the GM
Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the business
Complying with licensing laws, health and safety and company policies are maintained
Lead by example in guest interaction, professionalism, and service quality
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and enquiries professionally and efficiently
Supervise and motivate the team during shifts to create a professional team environment
Assist in driving revenue, by upselling and maximising sales, event planning and SM posts
Carry out necessary ordering, control costs, cash handling procedures and reports
Previous experience in hospitality supervisory or leadership role
Strong interpersonal skills, leadership and team management, ability to work calmly and professionally, in a fast paced environment
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive, reliable and proactive attitude to work, and passion for the hospitality industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
