The Role
We're looking for a passionate and driven Training Academy Manager to design and lead the Branston Train Academy. Working closely with the HR Director and General Managers, you'll create and deliver structured training programmes that support employee development from induction through to career progression.
You'll design and implement engaging, compliant training across key areas such as Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality and ERP compliance through a combination on classroom and on-the-job training.
What will you be doing?
Lead the design and development of the onboarding syllabus and training plans for delivery to new starters and refresher training
Evaluate the programme to ensure the training remains effective through achievement against KPIs and feedback, whilst remaining up to date with legislation
Arranging and scheduling all mandatory training programmes with external providers where necessary
Design and delivery of Train the Trainer programmes to inhouse trainers
Ensure training content is engaging and tailored to operational employees
Liaise with third party temporary labour providers to ensure a consistent approach to induction and development of temporary staff
Develop interactive resources using a variety of learning technologies and tools
Support the department to ensure all training and refresher training requirements are recorded and kept up to do on PDPs and training matrices
Present training proposals and updates to key stakeholders with clarity and impact
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lead by example through promoting our values that motivate the team and encourage development through coaching, mentoring and performance management
What we want from you?
Previous training or teaching experience
Proven experience in design implementation and delivery of training programmes
Strong organisation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Previous knowledge or experience within the FMCG industry
Proficiency with online training delivery platforms and use of virtual reality
Additional practical qualifications e.g. Food Hygiene, Health and Safety etc
