Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed professional to join us as a Teaching Assistant at TES FE News.
Responsibilities
* Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by assisting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach, and through outdoor activities
* Assist with the preparation of learning material and contribute to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management
* Daily reports on learners' progress and barriers to learning
* Interaction with parents/caregivers on a regular basis
Qualifications
* A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
* At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
* QTS/QTLS is advantageous

About Unity College
Unity College offers a bespoke educational provision in a nurturing environment for our secondary-age students (Y7 - post 16) who are in the care of the local authority. We operate on two sites: the main site in West Wycombe and a satellite nurture base on the outskirts of Aylesbury. Classes are typically no more than four pupils. The school prioritises safeguarding and professional development for staff.
