We are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to join our team in Sheffield, United Kingdom. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and support a team of care workers, ensuring they provide excellent care to service users
* Conduct regular home visits to assess the quality of care and identify areas for improvement
* Develop and maintain care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs and comply with care standards
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to coordinate care services
* Manage staff rotas, ensuring appropriate coverage and efficient resource allocation
* Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as needed
* Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals, identifying training needs and supporting professional development
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures
* Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services and organisational processes
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above
* Proven experience in care supervision or management within a domiciliary care setting
* Strong knowledge of care standards, regulations, and best practices in the field
* Excellent leadership and people skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
* Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in care planning and assessment
* Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
* Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to care delivery
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry trends
Contract and Working Hours
Contract: Guaranteed hours contracts available.
Working hours: Guaranteed 37.50 contract hours per week.
* 08:30 - 17:00
* One weekend in four
* Some flexibility to support client continuity
