Sales Manager – B2B Exhibition – Northeast London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + £25k OTE + 25 Days Holiday + Healthcare
Sales Manager job for one of the UK’s leading and multi-award-winning exhibition and publishing companies. You will be joining one of their B2B construction trade shows, selling sponsorship, exhibition space and digital solutions. To be considered, you must come from an exhibition or B2B event sales background.
Currently a team of just over 100, they have won multiple awards for their events, they are renowned for delivering exciting and consumer and B2B engaging shows, attracting over £1m visitors every year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and fun team and recent winners of a best employer of the year award within their category. You will play a key role in independently driving revenue, and supporting the successful delivery of the show, with later development into managing a small sales executive team.
About the role:
- Selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages and digital solutions for the portfolio
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy
- Generating new business and managing client relationships throughout
- Proactively generate a strong sales pipeline through research and trend analysis and attending competitor shows
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing and the Event Director
- Manage the client relationship throughout the show cycle ensuring a high rate of rebooks and long term relationships
- Provide sales reports, forecasts and actionable insights to support planning and strategy
- Be the brand ambassador at all industry relevant events.
The ideal candidate:
- 4+ years’ experience in exhibition / event sales
- Ability to independently drive and manage revenue streams for a B2B show
- Commercially minded
- Confidence to present to c-suite decision makers and securing high-value deals
- Some experience selling into the construction sector would be advantageous
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- New business hunter and account manager
- Demonstrable track record of meeting revenue targets.
