education and qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Full GMC registration, Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via CCT (CCT date must be within 6 months of interview). CESR or European Community rights
2. FRCR or eequivalent
Desirable criteria
3. Advanced Communications training
experience and effectivness
Essential criteria
4. •Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of adult patients
5. •Demonstrate use of evidence based practice
6. •Demonstrate evidence of sub-specialty / specific tumour site training
Desirable criteria
7. •Willing and able to help develop oncology services
Knowledge and skills
Essential criteria
8. •Willingness and ability to fulfil all key elements of the job description
9. •Experience of / ability to supervise and train junior doctors
10. •Ability to develop effective working relationships on an individual, multi-professional and team basis with all levels of staff
