Supports Mace’s wider corporate ambitions to reduce client carbon emissions to meet organisational targets. You’ll Be Responsible For: Supporting the development of client climate change, sustainability and/or social value strategies on individual projects, including agreeing project outcomes and ensuring delivery by project team. Providing service excellence, delivering purpose-led and measurable outcomes for clients, with particular focus on climate change, social value, and biodiversity. Providing technical expertise and promotes innovation in a particular area of sustainability, such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, sustainable buildings, etc. Providing generalist advise and support to major issues of sustainability with all relevant stakeholders. Supporting work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison, and external profile-raising of Mace/Mace services. Supporting the drive for Mace to be a leader in climate change and sustainability. Managing team, and champions career development such that they have the opportunity to work to the best of their potential in a safe and supportive environment. Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work. You’ll need to have: Relevant tertiary qualification (post graduate degree, etc) (or equivalent). Subject matter expertise\: knowledge, understanding and expertise across the fields of environmental and social sustainability. You’ll also have: Stakeholder engagement\: ability to engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels. Collaborator, ability to engage with multiple teams in a collaborative manner. Communication\: ability to present technical topics in a simple way to a variety of audiences.
