Job Scope: We are seeking a skilled PBS Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary therapy team delivering specialist behavioural support across both community and clinical settings. As a PBS Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting detailed behavioural assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs), and working closely with individuals, families, and professionals to implement effective support strategies. This role is based in the Manchester area, with regular travel to nearby locations, including York. The PBS Practitioner will also contribute to embedding Positive Behaviour Support principles across services, ensuring the approach remains aligned with current research and best practice. You will manage your own caseload, complete Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs), and collaborate with clinicians to provide consistent, person-centred support, particularly during periods of crisis. Additionally, the PBS Practitioner will represent the service in professional meetings, promote the delivery of tailored support packages, and play an active part in driving continuous improvement across the wider care network. Do you have? * BTEC or equivalent qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field. * Minimum of two years experience as a PBS Practitioner. * Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs. * Background in managing caseloads across different care environments and working with multi-agency teams. * Motivated, compassionate, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for the people you support. * Full UK driving licence.
