Overview This position will focus primarily on supporting the consultancy’s clients by ensuring external design submissions meet the required technical, regulatory, and project-specific standards. The Role * Review and verify third-party mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements and relevant standards * Identify design risks, clashes, or deficiencies, and raise clear, constructive feedback for resolution * Support project managers and client stakeholders by translating technical issues into practical advice and guidance * Liaise with subcontractors to clarify design intent, coordinate updates, and ensure timely resolution of queries * Contribute to technical design review meetings and maintain accurate review documentation * Support the consultancy in representing client interests during design phases, ensuring accountability and quality throughout the supply chain Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design combined with a sharp eye for technical detail and quality control. Prior experience in design checking, consultancy, or contractor oversight within continuous manufacturing products will be highly advantageous.
