Job Title Tenancy Enforcement Officer

Head Office Location: Brindley Place, Birmingham

Job Location: B1 2JB

Salary - £ 40,000- £ 750+ Car Allowance) per annum

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time

About the role

As a key member of our Localities team you will take the lead in addressing serious tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour (ASB) across our communities, ensuring all actions are fully aligned with GreenSquareAccord`s policies, legal obligations, and best practice. This is a specialist role that involves managing complex ASB cases from initial investigation through to resolution, including legal proceedings and court representation where necessary.

You`ll work in close partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders to reduce the impact of ASB and safeguard the wellbeing of our residents. As well as dealing with serious cases, you will provide expert advice, guidance, and training to the Homes and Communities Teams, supporting them in using early intervention tools to address lower-level tenancy issues.

Your role will also involve supporting victims and witnesses, preparing legal documents, and attending or leading multi-agency meetings. You`ll be instrumental in ensuring that GreenSquareAccord continues to deliver high-quality, customer-focused housing services and maintains safe and thriving communities.

About you

You are a highly skilled and resilient housing professional with strong experience in tenancy enforcement and anti-social behaviour case management. With a sound knowledge of housing legislation, legal processes, and court procedures, you are confident in preparing legal documentation, instructing solicitors or counsel, and, where appropriate, representing your organisation in court.

You have a proactive, solution-focused approach, with the ability to handle complex and often sensitive cases independently from start to finish. You understand the importance of early intervention and holistic approaches, and you are committed to achieving positive outcomes for residents and communities.
