Job Description
Larsen Building Products is a market leading manufacturer of building materials, chemicals, and cement-based powders to the construction industry. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and technical solutions to a wide range of customers across the UK and Ireland. Due to significant business growth, we are now seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting the marketing manager in the development and successful implementation of marketing plans and campaigns.
* Understanding brand guidelines and consistently implementing the brand voice and image across all channels.
* Utilising Canva design package and video editing software to create visually appealing and engaging content for the Larsen website and social media channels.
* Providing detailed briefs to graphic design agencies and POS suppliers to deliver high-impact print and digital marketing materials
* Maintaining and updating the company's WordPress website to ensure that product information is current and informative for our customers
* Assisting with both print and digital PR and advertising, ensuring that deadlines are met
* Supporting the creation or improvement of product packaging to maintain a level of brand consistency across the ranges
* Liaising and networking with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting with event management, including trade exhibitions and customer / employee events, to ensure smooth execution and alignment with the brand's identity
* Preparing internal communications content to effectively distribute key information to all employees across multiple sites
* Seeking out influential brand ambassadors across social media platforms to help continue with brand building and endorsements
* Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for the Larsen brand
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
* 1-2 years previous marketing experience
* Proficient in Canva design package
* Experience in recording video footage and editing using high quality software
* Ability to utilise social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, for business purposes
* Full clean driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
Desirable
* Third level qualification in marketing (or equivalent)
* Experience with WordPress, as a website management system
* Previous work experience in an office environment
Skills
* Attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Must be able to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment
