Commercial Manager South Yorkshire
A leading company in the facilities management sector is currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager to be based in Barnsley with occasional local travel.
Working as part of the senior management team, the Commercial Manager will work in Public Estates Facilities management team to deliver critical services.
You will ensure the contract operates efficiently whilst managing financial performance, reviewing supplier costs, supporting change control, compliance and commercial guidance to operational teams.
As Commercial Manager you will;
* Lead commercial oversite of the total FM contract.
* Interpret and apply contract clauses and advise on risk and impact
* You will be responsible for administration of change control to include pricing, negotiating and securing approvals for variations
* Producing monthly commercial reports, forecasts and P&Ls.
* Oversee subcontractor performance
* Act as the commercial interface with the customer
* Identify and manage commercial risks.
* Manage procurement processes, quote analysis, tendering and negotiation of minor works, reactive jobs and projects.
What you will have;
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager/Senior Quantity Surveyor within FM and PFI sectors
* A strong understanding of Total FM Delivery (M&E, cleaning, security, grounds, helpdesk,compliance)
* Excellent commercial knowledge
* Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, reporting and change control
* Effective negotiation skills
The role offers salary circa £50,000- £70,000 plus company car, 24 days holiday, generous pension as well as other great benefits
