As a Lettings Negotiator, you'll play a vital role in connecting tenants with their ideal homes while helping landlords get the best return on their investments. You'll be at the forefront of our business—representing our brand, values, and service every time you pick up the phone, arrange a viewing, or negotiate a deal. What You’ll Be Doing: Property Letting & Coordination Match tenants with suitable rental properties based on their needs and preferences. Book and conduct viewings, providing a professional and engaging tour of the property. Coordinate the entire lettings process, from application and referencing to move-in. Draft and manage tenancy agreements, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance. Building Client Relationships Act as a trusted advisor to both landlords and tenants, offering guidance throughout the tenancy cycle. Regularly update landlords on viewings, feedback, and market conditions to help secure lets quickly and at the right price. Handle queries and concerns with efficiency and professionalism, always aiming for resolution and satisfaction. Negotiation & Deal Closure Negotiate rent, tenancy terms, and deposit arrangements to achieve the best outcome for both parties. Handle objections, clarify queries, and work towards mutually beneficial agreements. Keep landlords informed at every step to ensure transparency and confidence. ️ Admin & Compliance Keep all systems and records up to date, including applicant information, viewing notes, and signed agreements. Ensure that lettings are fully compliant with all legal requirements, including Right to Rent checks and deposit protection. What You’ll Bring: Experience in lettings, property, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not essential—training is available for the right candidate. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and sales abilities. Highly organized and able to manage a busy schedule with multiple deadlines. An interest in property and a strong desire to build a long-term career in the industry. Familiarity with lettings legislation and property software (e.g. Reapit, Jupix, Dezrez) is a plus. A full UK driving licence is desirable for conducting property visits.
