12 month fixed term contract***\nResponsibilities\nSafeguard the financial processes associated with people being supported by Voyage Care.\nPlan and complete financial assurance visits at services / homes.\nIdentify inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls and recommend and implement improvements with respect to People we Support’s monies, petty cash, purchasing/prepaid cards and other local finance practices.\nIdentify, recommend and implement improvements.\nUndertake and report financial investigations into irregularities and concerns identified or suspected at homes and services\nPersonal Finance Audit Manager (Care Services) Duties:\n\nPlan and undertake financial assurance work by:\n\nidentifying risky areas\nresponding to requests from Operations and / Quality teams\nundertaking random visits to homes and services \n\nAssess compliance with Voyage home / service financial policies and procedures by executing reviews and testing petty cash controls, People we Support finance controls, account balances; examining and analysing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. \n\nAssess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating financial processes; identifying local and organisational process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues...
