Environmental Graphic Designer
Central London | £55,000-£60,000 | On-site
I'm working with one of the world's leading architecture and design practices on the search for an Environmental Graphic Designer to join their London team.
This is a role for someone who sits comfortably between brand, environmental graphics and wayfinding, rather than a pure signage specialist or traditional graphic designer.
The team works at the intersection of architecture, interiors and brand, creating experiences within physical environments across hospitality, retail, entertainment and lifestyle sectors.
Projects range from branded environments and spatial storytelling through to environmental graphics, murals, installations, wayfinding systems and interior graphic applications.
They're looking for someone who can think conceptually, build compelling narratives and translate brand into physical space. The ideal candidate will have experience creating environmental graphic systems and communicating ideas visually within the built environment.
You'll be working closely with architects, interior designers and wider multidisciplinary teams, taking projects from early-stage concept development through to implementation.
Ideal backgrounds might include:
• Environmental Graphic Design
• Wayfinding Design
• Branded Environments
• Placemaking
• Spatial Design
• Experience Design
• Brand Design within the built environment
Key requirements:
• Around 5+ years' relevant experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating environmental graphics and spatial communication
• Ability to communicate ideas, concepts and narratives clearly
• Experience working across physical environments rather than purely digital or print
• Strong visual design and presentation skills
Please note:
• London-based role
• Permanent position
• £55,000-£60,000 salary range
• Five days per week in the studio in Central London
• Applicants should be able to commute comfortably into Central London
