You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Group Corporate PR strategy. Reporting to the Senior PR Manager, you will be based full-time at our Oxford Street HQ.
You will deliver an effective PR strategy for Frasers Group, working with our Senior PR Manager to develop messaging for external communications and supporting the delivery of corporate business announcements. Additionally, you will:
1. Drive and support the development and delivery of press releases and external-facing statements
2. Manage incoming enquiries from business and retail press confidently
3. Work with the communications team to deliver and execute key business milestones, including Company Results
4. Support the management of the Group’s Communications Calendar and actively seek new opportunities for the executive team
5. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient information flow across the organization
6. Coordinate with the People team to align internal and external communication plans
7. Develop long-term communication strategies with external corporate PR advisors
8. Manage and support the Press Officer and Group PR Assistant
9. Monitor and report on social, economic, and political trends
10. Maintain an established network of journalists and industry peers
Qualifications
* At least 5 years’ experience in PR and Communications
* Ability to strategize and consider the larger business image
* Experience in a large retail organization is preferred but not essential
* Experience supporting corporate communications and financial results
* Excellent written English and attention to detail in communication skills
* In-depth knowledge of PR channels, newspapers, and TV networks
* Strong organizational skills, time management, flexibility, and multitasking ability
* A business-minded individual with understanding of retail, corporate branding, and communications
