Your journey begins with a nine-month vocational foundation diploma. Afterward, you'll join our experts at Filton, diving into real engineering work on our Commercial Aircraft Programmes. What you will be doing: Our Engineering Degree Apprenticeship offers a full degree with no fees, plus vocational training with a regular salary. Airbus is leading the way with this unique 4 year programme through which you will achieve a BEng (Hons) in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence), EAL Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (Development Competence), and work towards a professional IEng level award. As an Apprentice Engineer the type of placements you will undertake may include: Aircraft Architecture and Integration Design Simulation Stress and Fatigue Systems Installation Safety Analysis Research and Technology Certification Ground and Flight Test In Service Support Digital (e.g. coding, AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics) You will also develop the following: Project Management through placements in Chief Engineers or other departments Business and Financial knowledge Leadership Skills through working on projects with a broad range of people Requirements: In order to be eligible to this apprenticeship, you must have a minimum of: 112 UCAS points or above: 3 A Levels BBC or above which must include Maths at B or above AND Physics or Chemistry at C or above, with a further A-level/AS-Level/BTEC Diploma OR BTEC Extended Diploma: A eronautical Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing in Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Land-based Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations and Maintenance Engineering - minimum grade DMM or D (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) OR T Levels – Minimum of Merit overall in Engineering and Manufacturing, additional qualification in Maths at Level 3 preferable but not essential.
