We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow our existing client base while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you will take a 360° sales approach, balancing relationship management, retention, and up-selling with new business development. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, drive customer success, and expand their cybersecurity solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with industry experience and a proven track record in B2B sales who thrives in both account management and strategic new business development.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and successful partnerships.
* Account Growth & Revenue Retention Identify and capitalise on opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell services, ensuring clients receive maximum value and support business growth targets.
* Proactively prospect and engage with potential clients to drive new business, expand market presence, and contribute to the wider sales strategy.
* Take a consultative approach to understand client needs and challenges, presenting tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with their strategic goals.
* Own the renewal process, maintaining a proactive approach to client retention and ensuring continuity of service and long-term engagement.
* Champion client success by supporting them to enhance their security posture, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of emerging cyber threats.
* Leverage tools such as Zoho CRM, Apollo.io, OneShot.ai, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to manage pipelines, drive engagement, and track key account activity.
* Work closely with internal teams, including Security Operations, to ensure smooth service delivery, rapid issue resolution, and high levels of client satisfaction.
Requirements
* Previous experience within cybersecurity, IT services, or managed services is essential to understand client needs and effectively position solutions.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or account management role, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
* Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow long-term client relationships that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Confident in identifying, approaching, and converting new business opportunities, from prospecting through to close.
* Skilled in uncovering client pain points and aligning cybersecurity solutions to deliver real business value.
* Comfortable managing commercial discussions, including pricing, renewals, and strategic planning to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Proactive, driven by achieving and surpassing sales goals through retention, up-selling, and new client acquisition.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zoho, and other tools like Apollo.io or LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to manage sales pipelines and account activity efficiently.
