As our new Accounts payable assistant (Finance clerk), you'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our finance operations. This is more than just working with numbers -it's about supporting people, homes and futures.
What you'll do:
* Receive and process invoices inputting into our purchase ordering system.
* Ensure suppliers are paid within agreed timescales.
* Ensure payment runs are accurate and on time.
* Carry out supplier statement reconciliations and liaise with suppliers and colleagues to investigate and resolve any account queries.
* Investigate miscoding's to nominal ledger.
* Assist with reconciling systems, investigate and correct any differences.

* Minimum of 5 GCSE or 'O' level Passes to include English and Maths, or equivalent.
* Previous experience of working in a finance team.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Self-motivated and committed to Selwood's values.
