We are supporting a well-established industrial manufacturing business in Elgin who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to support and improve quality standards across their manufacturing operations. This role will suit someone with a strong engineering background, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment, who is comfortable working closely with machinery, production teams and technical drawings. Key Responsibilities * Support and maintain quality systems and procedures across the site * Conduct inspections and quality checks on components and finished products * Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis * Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve quality and reduce defects * Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process control * Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements and industry regulations About You * Proven engineering experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment * Strong understanding of CNC machinery and processes * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience working with quality tools, inspection equipment and measurement techniques * Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills * Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Stable, established manufacturing business * Opportunity to work with modern machinery and experienced engineering teams * Long-term career development and progression If you’re a Quality Engineer with hands-on engineering experience and a strong understanding of CNC machinery, we’d love to hear from you
