Your responsibilities will include: Safely transporting packaged hazardous and non hazardous waste from customer and supplier sites across the UK, ensuring timely and secure deliveries Ensuring full compliance with ADR regulations, transport legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies Accurately maintaining documentation, including waste transfer notes, to ensure regulatory traceability Working closely with the wider transport team to coordinate routes, schedules, and vehicle usage Strictly adhering to health & safety guidelines, ensuring the correct and safe use of vehicles, equipment, and PPE Carrying out daily vehicle checks and promptly reporting any defects Liaising with site personnel and customers to ensure smooth handovers and resolve any delivery or access issues Using and maintaining equipment such as pumps, hoses, or spill kits where required Assisting with loading and unloading, securing loads correctly, and following all PPE requirements This role requires professionalism, responsibility, and a strong commitment to safe, compliant transport operations. Who We re Looking For: Essential: Valid HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 licence CPC qualification Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card Previous driving experience preferred however, newly qualified drivers are also encouraged to apply Desirable: Experience within hazardous waste, industrial services, or environmental industries Familiarity with packaged waste handling or related sectors ADR certification You ll Also Bring: Strong awareness of safety, compliance, and ADR best practice Reliability, professionalism, and responsibility in vehicle operation Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team Flexibility to adapt to changing routes, schedules, and operational needs Keen attention to detail when completing paperwork and following procedures What Happens Next Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to arrange an interview and discuss the role in more detail.
