Job Description
3. Ownership of the Group's budgets and forecasts - building in controls to ensure they are robust and flexible, ensuring they can handle future developments to the business structure
4. Production of the key internal reporting documents in respect of financial planning, including PowerPoint presentations for board-level consumption eg Annual budget and key re-forecasts
5. Model and track compliance with the Group's banking covenants and produce quarterly reporting to the banking syndicate.
6. Ownership of the Group's going concern assessments and impairment reviews to assist with the Group's yearly and half-yearly reporting - including liaison with the Groups auditors
7. Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic business decisions.
8. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
9. Provide key insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial performance.
10. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
12. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
13. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business health.
14. Support ad-hoc financial projects as required by management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful FP&A/Senior Finance Manager should have:
15. A professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
16. A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally within the technology sector.
17. Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
18. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
19. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
20. Strong communication skills to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
